Since the foundation of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen in 1953 the company has been growing steadily. We are always interested in promoting and improving technical progress and environmental sustainability in the cable car industry. This is reflected on the one hand in the number of our employees - which is meanwhile up to 180 persons in the winter season - and on the other hand in the improvement of artificial snow coverage, the preparation of slopes and the increasing number of visitors. The Mayrhofner Bergbahnen are responsible for the preparation of 76 of 159 kilometers of slopes, the operation of 29 of 53 lifts and the transportation of 43,700 p/h at an overall transportation capacity of 78,400 p/h in the ski resort Penken-Ahorn-Rastkogel-Eggalm. |
