With its attractive and versatile ski resort, Mayrhofen has always been a perfect place for snowboarders. In the last few years the resort became more and more popular well beyond the Austrian borders. Raceboarders are carving on perfectly groomed slopes while freestylers try some new tricks; others are just cruising through the large scale ski resort Ahorn - Penken - Rastkogel - Eggalm.

For freestyle pros as well as beginners, the VANS Penken Park is the place to be. With five differentlines and 48 innovative obstacles it counts among the biggest funparks in Europe. The international freestyle elite meets here to practice on the spectacular and perfectly shaped Proline: three jumps (from 18 to around 30 meters) in a row.
